Olivia Rodrigo
Olivia Isabel Rodrigo, born on February 20, 2003 is an American actress and singer-songwriter. She became famous in the late 2010s with her role as the lead in the Disney television programs Bizaardvark as well as High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Rodrigo's debut single "Drivers License", was released by Interscope Records and Geffen in 2020. It broke many records and was among the top-selling songs of 2021. The song helped propel her into the mainstream spotlight. She followed it up with singles "Deja Vu" and "Good 4 U", and released her debut studio album Sour (2021), that was a critical and commercial success, winning various accolades including three Grammy Awards. The Disney+ documentary, Olivia Rodrigo Driving Home 2 U, chronicling her creative process while working on Sour is scheduled to be released in 2022.Rodrigo has scored two Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles in addition to one Billboard 200 number-one album, and five multi-Platinum certifications by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). She has also been honored with an American Music Award and seven Billboard Music Awards, as along with four MTV Video Music Awards. Time listed her as the 2021 Entertainer of the Year and Billboard classified her as a woman of the year in 2022.
As a musician, Rodrigo has various accolades that include three Grammy Awards, seven Billboard Music Awards as well as four MTV Video Music Awards, four iHeartRadio Music Awards and two People's Choice Awards, an American Music Award, a Brit Award and an Juno Award.Rodrigo was listed in the 2021 edition of Time magazine's 100 Next list,[110] and named Time's Entertainer of the Year for 2021.
