Niykee's personal highlights include being hand-picked to join Snoop on the YouTube Brandcast, in May 2013, as well as writing songs, despite the turbulence of the past few years. Niykee is an enduring magnet for new producers getting started. Many of the tracks she gets are a source of songs. Within 5 seconds, I can tell whether a track is good or not. Then I get an idea for an original song, and start writing it immediately. My guitar is set up on the back of my porch and I just let my words flow. Most of the time, it's done in less than thirty minutes. Niykee says that when she grows as a lyricist, the painful memories of her childhood serve as an inspiratoin. My experience of pain as a child in my youth as well as losing my younger sister are evident in my lyrics, even when they are not literally. This influences my music and gives them a deeper significance. I believe this is the key to succeeding.
