Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe is the daughter of a mixed-race family from South London in England. She is English but her father was Nigerian. She was raised in a south London community estate, where she attended The Brit School at age fourteen. It was the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art was where she received a BA degree in acting. While at school she appeared in a variety of stage productions such as King Henry V's princess Katherine or Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe's acting journey began in the series Storm Damage. Since then, she's been making appearances in guest roles for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her breakthrough role came in 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was in the role of Colin Farrell (who played the role of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. After this success, Madekwe appeared as Elisha in her role on the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and was featured on six of the episodes Trexx and Flipside. She also landed the role of Bambi on The ITV2 drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl which aired in series two and three. Madekwe was a part of the comedy feature film How to Lose Friends & Alienate People. Her stage credits includes Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams as well as Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe made her US debut on The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show ran just two episodes at The CW, and was later cancelled. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge from February 2011. Madekwe was a regular in the ABC drama series Revenge during two seasons. The show was announced in May 2013 that she would leave the series after making a guest episode in the very first season of the third. She played Tituba in the TV series Salem between 2014 and. Madekwe, her longtime partner, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. Both of them have been in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also starred as partners in Salem.
Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into an extended family of. She joined her parents, Roy and Patty and four older brothers -Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley's brothers, who were all very physically active, were all playing hockey in the winter and baseball during the summer months, which means she basically grew up in baseball and arenas. Ashley did not walk; instead, she was a dancer. In the age of two and half, she found Baby Ballet. Ashley began to develop a love of dancing after she started the Baby Ballet. Ashley competed in tap, jazz and ballet in high divisions. Ashley won the best soloist award at every major dance event, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance among some.
