Simone Biles
Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born March 14, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A. The 2016 Olympics took place in Rio de Janeiro and Biles was the U.S.'s only female gymnast ever to win 4 gold medals. She also won the world championship for all-around 3 times in succession (2013-15). Biles was born at home in Spring Texas, in the Houston metro region. Biles and her sister Adria were adopted by Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone's love for gymnastics first began at the age of six when she took a trip with her day-care group to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained under Aimee Borman's guidance from 2011. Biles was a winner in the vault and floor exercise at the 2009 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before moving up to the highest level of competition in the year 2011. Within two years she had dominated this sport. Her consistency, her vivacious nature and high degree of difficulty during her four events- vault uneven bars balance beam floor workout and floor exercises -- helped to set her out from the rest of the athletes.
